It's worth every single penny. I used the product on my 2006 3. 0 tdi audi which i purchased two years ago with 90k miles on the clock. I am a big fan of audi brand but never trusted their long service maintenance schedule allowing even 25k miles between oil changes. When i got the car the engine was quite noisy and running rough.

Once changed the oil (castrol edge) and added 2 bottles of ceratec it took maybe as little as 2000 miles to notice the difference. Use in conjunction with a fuel system cleaner/conditioner such as bg 44k, will give better results than any service and will work out cheaper.

I've tried friction modifiers before (motor up) which is snake oil. However this modifier is different as it uses nano sized particles of boron suspended in an ester based fatty fluid, whilst the ester is dissipating it coats all your metal surfaces with the boron particles which forms a barrier an extremely slippery one, thus reducing wear and friction. Now i have read up on the science behind it and it seems sound?the only difficulty i had was figuring out the amount to use per litre of oil since the packaging is in american measurements only, a quick e-mail to the seller provided the answer 40ml per litre. What have i noticed using it?.

Expensive, but then again so is a new engine. I tried this because i wanted an additive that would reduce the temperature that having an lpg system inevitably produces, not only does it run cooler it also runs quieter and smoother with a boost in fuel economy, i am trying the ar6200 to see if that improves things even a little more?. I would recommend this as the science behind it is very sound, it doesn't as many critics claim alter the oil all the esters do is clean and carry the nano sized boron particles onto the the metal surfaces.

Ar9100 Review. I have a mondeo mk3 2. 0tdci - 2006 - that keeps going into limp home mode, which has had several new parts and many visits to 2 local garages with varying degrees of sucess/ failure. I think the upshot is it needs a new turbo as the vnt's are sticking and possibly 1 new injector that causes a judder which further compounds my frustration of the limp home mode which is probably caused by the gummed/sooted up sticking vnt's. So the issues are most probably caused by mechanical malfunctions, that said reading how ar6400d may assist in cleaning carbon, soot etc. Away i thought i'd give it ago, along with ar9100 which i hoped would help the ailing injector by cleaning the oil side thinking that may also be gummed-up. I have only covered 200 miles since adding both products, to date the only aparent benefit is an increasing in mpg - prior the additives it was returning 46mpg after the aadtives it is now returning 50mpg so a decent increase which is welcome. I have isolated the actuator arm on the turbo and rocked it back and forth, the action should be smooth, easy to do and the travel should be approx 30mm; the action is stiff and takes some pressure to get it to move and so is not easy, the travel is 15 to 20mm only so i can only assume the vnt's are still gummed/ sooted up. The judder is still there, strangely sometimes better sometimes worse?so i think these products had their work cut out for them, it would appear thet haven't aided me as much as i would have liked/wished for but i would qualify that by the above - an aparent pre-existing mechanical issue; so any additive/cleaner would probably have struggled. I Think I Do Love It. My Manufacturer Says Max Speed of My . I think i do love it. My manufacturer says max speed of my car is 204km/h and i went 214km/h according to gps measurement as dashboard always shown proportionally higher speed than satellites do, so i do not know what it all is but this product?gps could not be wrong at distance of a mile. .

Extra Sauce. I used this in my fuel for my audi tt worked a treat. Engine runs sweat and purrs like a cat!.

A Winner For Engine Health. Our little fiat punto had trouble getting thru the last emissions bit of the mot. I think it was cause the tech forgot to turn the headlights off. . But still it tested ok twice in a row and we passed. But we have been running cheap gas thru the poor car and got me thinking it wouldnt hurt to run the cleaner in a tank of gas and then run tesco 99 from now on. Caution: do not put this in your tank and try to get tested, the extra cleaners will make the readings all wonky. Run a tank with the cleaner thru the car. Run a whole full tank again thru the car. Then fill up with the best gas you can and go in for your test/retest. Make sure you dont arrive early for your appt. And drive for over 20-30min to make sure the car is good and warm for best emissions results. Our little 1. 2 engine has been pulling up hills in 5th gear much better than before. It is also humming along the motorways at a confident speed. We will stick with the 99octane fuel since we have seen a 5% increase in milage and the stuff costs about 5%more. . So its a wash. We are also hoping the better fuel wont clog up the engine. Fingers crossed. . The bottle works a treat getting it into the tank, past the tricky 'unleaded' flap of our car. The bottle nozzle is long enough to make it down the fill pipe and you can tap the last bits out and push the last bits into the tank. The bottle is sealed with a sliver sticker over the opening. . I would suggest you take it all the way off and dispose. It can pop back into place and stop the flow of cleaner if you just puncture it in. And it could also go into the tank, so just rip the sliver sticker off. Doesnt stink, doesnt do any harm, does have measurable benefits and is easy to use. 5stars.

Wynn's a Winner!. I've had problems with my renault twingo's engine lately (irregular idle speed + problems to start) and decided to give wynn's injector cleaner a go before spending a lot on spare parts. I was actually quite sceptical at first but thought that after 130. 000 miles it couldn't do any harm to the engine. So i went to a petrol station, poured the whole can contents into the tank and filled in with petrol (my tank is about 45 litres). I left the petriol station and started driving on the bypass and wow, i was really surprised how quickly i could notice the difference especially in terms of torque. Because my injectors were getting old and must habe been blocked in some way, the difference was really noticeable. The car didn't gain power or anything but it simply went back to how it used to work when i bought it 7 years ago. It's really funny how progressive the loss of torque can happen on an engine and how we get used to it. So to conclude, i'm very impressed with this product and will definitely use it again when my car reaches 260. 000 miles :-).

Added the bottle to a full tank, left for 30 minutes to reach the bottom of the tank and then went for a drive, within minutes throttle response was improved with increased power, have used redex regularly which kept emissions low for mot but this product seems to have actually cleaned the injectors. This really helped improve the fuel injectors though i suspect i may need another bottle. Though my mechanic friend said 'put it in with a quarter tank, take it on a motorway and belt the ride onto 60mph and stay on gear 3 for a while then move up to gear 4, stay there a few minutes, let it over rev, then up another gear and so on. Personally; this, with a cataclean bottle, and a bottle of redex fuel tank cleaner, half a tank of petrol and be willing to waste the half tank and you'll have your little kitten growling like a tiger yet remain healthy and elegant and also save you a few quid in fuel economy. But we have been running cheap gas thru the poor car and got me thinking it wouldnt hurt to run the cleaner in a tank of gas and then run tesco 99 from now on.

Clean everthing out in the engine and improvers your fuel. I could not be leave it until i try it--- yes it works it clean out all my injectors and what a differenced it made to my car. Dam good it clean out all my fuel injector, and what a differenced it made to the performance to my car. I had problems with my car pulling away in first and it was very hard to match the revs when changing gear. Once i had put the wynn's in the car improved after 20miles, ran smoothly, improved performance etc.

Wasn't totally convinced when i bought it but thought it was worth a try when the alternative was major engine work. The engine is quieter, runs notably smoother, there does seem to be a bit more power, and the engine's compression increased according to my local mechanic who had previously wanted to strip almost the entire engine to carry out work. A bit vague as to how this stuff actually works but it certainly did a good job for me.

Marvellous product so good for my suzuki engine which is 25 yrs old and this product protects it.

I'm afraid that i have not used it yet but will do in the next couple of weeks as i am due to have a oil change on my car and have been advised to use it after a change of oil. So i may get back to you when i have done it.

I have used various oil additives in all my cars over the last 37 years, and i think slick50 is effective, safe and although it seems quite expensive i use it with asda 10/40w fully synthetic oil (£20) so it's not too bad if you compare it against castrol etc. My dad seen a demonstration of this product when it 1st came out where they ran a car at speed with no oil in the engine and it ran perfectly ok. I have recently gone back to slick50 after using another product because there is information that the other product i was using was an old technology and may cause errosion of bronze bearings and other undesirable effects when used in a combustion engine. I 1st used this on my 1974 mini and after 100,000 mile when i stripped down the engine there where no major problems, i think partly to the slick50 i had used. .

I have used slick 50 in every car i have owned (and even in company cars at my own expense) for at least 2 decades and have nothing but absolute confidence in the product and a total and unqualified recommendation to others to use it. My only word of caution is to run a brand new car for three or four thousand miles on the recommended oil only to allow the engine to 'run in' (loosen up slightly) before adding slick 50 as it is so good it will keep the engine tight for much longer if added to a brand new engine. .

Back in the 'ol days when the product was relatively new the instructions used to specify that you added slick 50 when you had just changed the oil, leaving just enough oil capacity to add the product. The reason i only added that amount and my personal warning that goes with it is that engines that share engine and gearbox oil in a wet clutch set up might find some clutch slip setting in if you get too carried away. I can't remember the car now, but it was either a mk1 1800 golf gti (the best car i have ever had) or a later car an xr3i. After 1000 miles the engine ran at 300rpm lower than before at 70mph.
